Sherando Lake Recreation Area's Family Campground provides an ideal camping destination. It is situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains and visitors can enjoy hiking, picnicking in the shade, fishing in the lakes, or swimming and relaxing on the sandy beach. Sherando Lake Recreation Area

Staunton Pride will be hosting a group camping and outdoors activity weekend on June 27-29th. Folks can choose to camp one or two nights -- all in a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment. Camping begins on Friday, June 27th, 4pm and goes until Sunday, June 29th at 11am. 

Set up camp with the group in our group campsite and spend the days exploring the area, hiking, swimming, playing games, or just relaxing with great company.  Fireside cooking, chats, and s'mores are a must! We'll have some folks leading activities throughout the weekend.
